what are your hours?
Drop off is from 9-9:15am and pick up is at 4pm.
Do you have extended hours?
Unfortunately, no. Since we are a completely mobile camp, we do not have a physical building to host extended care.
when will we get our itinerary?
You will receive a detailed itinerary and packing list 1 week before your session starts. Since we work with many other small business owners, a lot of the details are ironed out last minute! However, you can check out our Instagram page @Camp512atx as well as the Summer Camp tab to get an idea of what our weeks look like!
My child isn’t an experienced swimmer. Can they attend?
YES! During Austin summers, we like to go swimming, a lot! However, all campers 6 yrs and younger will be required to wear a life vest. Additionally, all of our counselors are CPR certified. Any other camper who isn’t a strong swimmer will have access to the life vests we provide.
Do you provide food?
YES! We provide all food and snacks for the week. The only thing your child will need to bring is a refillable water bottle.
how do you transport the kids?
We have a 15 passenger Ford Transit van in which 14 of our campers ride with our Director in charge. There is a following SUV with up to 4 campers and a counselor. Our remaining counselor follows in their personal vehicle with all of our supplies!
Can i request my child to be in the same group as a friend/sibling?
Yes, but it’s not necessary! We like to keep our camp small, 18 campers max, so we all travel together anyway.
what is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel up to 1 week before your session begins for a full refund less the $100 deposit.
do you sell camp 512 merch?
YES! All campers will receive a Camp 512 t-shirt, stadium cup, and vinyl decal on the 1st day of camp. You can also purchase more shirts for $15/each, Camp 512 Trucker Hats for $20/each, and Camp 512 drawstring bags for $8.
